Participate in Trials

Translational Research Centre for AMR

St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research Translational Research Centre provides an environment that allows for future expansion of clinical research on the Darlinghurst campus. The clinical consultation and research interview spaces created in the Centre are used for clinical trial study visits for a range of studies and provides an environment for research participants to engage with clinical academics, nurses, study coordinators and administrative staff in a more community-oriented space, rather than acute hospital service. The interview rooms proposed will provide for face-to-face behavioural and epidemiological study interviews which are currently not provided in the hospital facilities. The space also allows for research involving treatment and therapeutics including the collection of research bio-specimens and the conduct of certain on-site point of care pathology tests.

For more information about the range of clinical trials available through the Translational Research Centre and for opportunities to participate in a clinical research project at St Vincent’s Hospital or Kirby Institute please contact the Operations Manager- Clinical Research program on 02 8382 4990.
